Hello, My name is Jamarri Nix! I'm a community-driven designer, illustrator, and researcher from Chicago, IL. I earned my BFA in Fine and Applied Arts and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and my MA in Advertising from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. My portfolio primarily consists of visual identity and illustration but spans print design, UI/UX, motion graphics, photography, and more. My work features vibrant colors and expressive, animated forms, which have become a staple of my style. I have had work displayed in the CPS All-City Senior Portfolio Exhibition and was a featured artist in U of I's inaugural “TAKEOVER: First Year Exhibition.” I also starred as the host of the College of Fine & Applied Arts recruitment video. After completing my degrees, I work full-time as a Jr. Graphic Designer for GNAH Studios and Creative Coordinator for Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.
