spotlight ii. (2022) is the next entry in the spotlight photographic series of self-portraits. As with the first, I captured these photos using a flashlight and Galaxy S8+ smartphone camera. The goal was to convey a distinct set of emotions through various expressions, intense lighting, and selective focus, culminating in a film noir-esque appearance.
