Nigerian KUDI (2021) is a virtual currency I designed as the cryptocurrency market cap reached a new benchmark. In creating the design, I set out to distinguish the KUDI from other currencies, utilizing colors and elements found within Nigeria's Naira notes and traditional textiles. The name “KUDI” comes from the Hausa language, spoken in northern Nigeria, and translates to “money” in English. The poster features a breakdown of the cryptocurrency's anatomy, the palettes I developed from the Naira notes, and the values of each KUDI.
